All terrain rollator ?

Hi all, but of a long shot here, but can anyone recommend an all terrain rollator that isn’t ridiculously priced ? I’m only able to spend about £300 and all the ones I’ve been able to find are well over my budget .

I’m using a drive nitro at the moment and while it’s great on smooth surfaces, it’s struggles on rough grass / ground.

Any recommendations appreciated (even if it’s ‘I recommend you start saving’

June,

that sounds like a great idea. I did some Googling and was shocked to see the prices of anything that looked appropriate. I guess the combination of lightness , flexibility and some sort of suspension makes these products very expensive. I hope you get some good suggestions. I think a lottery win is my only option!

Good luck

Mick

I have a Torpo Troja and that works perfectly well on outdoor surfaces, although the Olympos might suit your needs better. The build quality is very good and don’t regret my purchase.

Hi, try googling Mobility Smart. They look reasonable prices and they do interest free credit.

Thanks Boudica, I’ll take a look

Thanks Mogace, you should see the price of a beach rollator ! I really miss walking along the beach with my dogs. It’s so expensive being disabled !

I completely agree. Expensive being disabled. I think there should be more help with paying for these things but I know that is just a dream.it is not like we have been disabled through our own negligence. I get very angry over how much assistance for people who are disabled through their own neglect. Over eating. Smoking, drugs etc. The NHS spends millions a year on patients like that. I wish able bodied people could realise how useful their bodies are and look after them better. An ordinary pair of legs will take them anywhere. Smooth ground, rough ground, beaches, swimming etc. Some of us would need about 3 different pieces of equipment to achieve all that!! Good luck Anne
