hi i am new here i have these symptoms

tingling numbness to arms and legs and shake a little when doing things feel like they have no strength

i get blureed vision at times

need to wee all the time although not much there when i do tired alot currently on antio depressants

i get pain and tightness in legs mainly but also arms. i have times when i am ok for a few weeks then seem to go down hill again for a feww weeks .

i have not told my doctor about half of this as i am scared they will think i am being silly but a friend of a friend who has bad ms has said this is how she started . i have an appointment later with doc as last couple of days have been my worst ever .

is it possible do you think it may be ms and should i be honest with the doctor about how long i have felt like this.

Yes of course, you must tell your doc everything. Write your symptoms on a piece of paper, Give daates too. He cant make a full picture unless you telll him. Dont make light of anything which is worrying you.

If he thinks you may have a neurological problem, then he should refer you to a specialist.

Your symptoms could be MS, or a whole lot of other things.

Good luck.

i hope they listen to me really dragging one leg as it just won’t listen to me don’t feel in control of my body and it getting worse

and got to work later which won’t be easy

Hi Rachy, and welcome to the site

Poll’s spot on - you have to be completely honest with your GP and anyone else he refers you to.

There are actually hundreds of different things that can cause symptoms like MS and some of these are actually easy to treat and some are one-offs that once you recover from you never get again. So try and keep an open and positive mind - hopefully it will all be fine.

I hope the appointment went well.
