Not yet diagnosed

I’m not yet diagnosed with MS. However, 7 months ago whilst on holiday suddenly my arm and part of my calf started feeling weak and almost rubbery. I could still walk on them but they were weak I went to the doctor twice and she told me I was in no immediate danger but that I should monitor the symptoms this lasted for about 1 month and then they kind of disappeared on their own. Then about 3 weeks ago they came back with vengeance and I’ve the numbness and rubbery feeling seems to have morphed into muscle spasms and tightness, my skin feeling warm and maybe slight blurred vision in one of my eyes. Im planning on heading back to the doctor when im back home from the Christmas holidays.
I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to approach the doctor in order to take the necessary steps for a potential diagnosis? and whether this was similar to anyone else initial symptoms.
Thank you

hi

just tell your GP about your symptoms and let her take it from there.

if she doesn’t offer to refer you, tell her about your concerns.

good luck.

hope you had a merry christmas

I agree with Carole, you should see your GP and ask for a referral to a neurologist. They can do a neurological physical exam and maybe refer you for more tests if they’re necessary.

Hopefully you can put it out of your mind until after Christmas.

Best of luck.
