Perhaps you will know! Hubby has been awarded carers a low acne and my ESA has been adjusted accordingly. The letter came today detailing the adjustments and then stating that this award amount is from 27th June until 27th November. Why is it until November, I don’t understand? What happens in November? Hi, I’m not sure but is it possible that your husbands payment has been backdated and therefore your ESA was overpaid for a period and rather than asking for a lump sum repayment they adjust your payment until you no longer ‘owe’ them. Perhaps with this adjustment you will have repaid what you ‘owe’ by 27th Nov so at this point your payments will be reassessed and probably increase…
