Hi I feel silly asking about this, but I have excruciating bone pain on the top of my right foot and I wondered if anyone else has had this? No issues with the rest of my foot, nor with my left foot. Its a very isolated pain and it feels so random that I feel like a total idiot for asking. But the aching is enough to bring tears to my eyes. Its been coming and going for one month and there seems to be no trigger.

Not being able to walk due to MS I have a continual soreness in both my lower legs and have been like that for several years now. If I could compare it to anything it would be like wearing leg irons. Enslaved to my disability
Last week when preparing for bed I noticed that my skin on my left shin had opened up just where the soreness is. I had no idea how this happened but feared the worst that I was heading for a leg ulcer. Went to the minor injuries dept of my local hospital who treated it and sent me off to my local GP for redressing.
Now I think this soreness stems from a spiritual affliction in the land of dreams and nightmares where chains and leg irons are a real prospect in an alternative world. I mentioned this to a couple of chaps I was having coffee. There was several raised eyebrows and smirks with ooooooohhhh, so that was the end of that conversation…with them anyway.
I have heard others say that physical afflictions often stem from emotional and psychological problems. Something to think about.
Have you got access to a podiatrist?
It would be good to know if it is caused by your shoes or just another one of those delights of MS.
There is a hairdressers near me who rents out a room to a wonderful podiatrist.
Just so knowledgable and I was telling her about my fungal nail infection and of how much i had spent on unsuccessful treatments. She told me to scuff the nail with an emery board and rub Vicks vapour rub. Magic!!
otherwise see your GP to find out if it could be rheumatism or arthritis.
Hi Fuzzy Duck, what you say about the sore area on your leg, possibly being caused by spiritual affliction is new to me.Could it be that during a dream, you have accidentally damaged your leg, which is now a physical problem?

Well, I would agree with you, Boudsx, if it had happened while asleep but the skin opened during the day. I became aware of the graze on my shin when undressing to go to bed. I have absolutely no idea how it happened as I spend most of my time in a wheelchair.
I never know these days what will happen next. I’m extremely grateful that we have an excellent responsive NHS.
In my opinion, I think us humans are more than just physical entities.
