Just having a pity party lol. Full of virus my throat has been killing me all week really hurts despite pain killers to swallow, keep getting congested and when I blow my nose its just loads of blood (sorry too much info) but getting sinus pain with it now and if I steam still blood (no nose bleeds though) but the worst is lack of sleep as I keep waking up choking and eyes streaming with throat spasms (have had now and again but awful now) its really scary like I’ve inhaled food type thing and my throat is closing. Anyway off to put out sausage rolls for the pity party

Hello arwen. Sorry to hear how badly you are feeling…no chance to enjoy christmas fodder with a throat like that!
Have you tried sucking extra strong mentholyptus sweets? They help clear a blocked nose for me.
As for the throat…keep drinking sips of plain water and try to rest/sleep upright with loads of pillows to prop you up ( a profile bed is great for that…do you have one?)
I do hope you are more comfortable soon.

Take care of yourself…and take it from me, you don’t want to let it develop into sinusitis. Get yourself off to a doctor!! Throat spasms and blood does not sound like something to be taken lightly. Please get help if you need it!
Ha ha reiki you should know I try to avoid gps at all costs. Don’t think it is normal but sure it will sort itself in the 2 weeks it would take to see my gp. How are you feeling now honey? Axx
