At last after 5 months of symptoms starting with optic neuritis and fatigue I have my 1st appt with neurologist. I’ve had an MRI scan in June which was clear, lots of blood tests, a Lumbar Puncture in August showing slightly raised protein levels and a Visual Evoked Potential test which confirmed the ON. A neuro read my tests and put me on another neuros list as an urgent new appt as his patient waiting list was so long. Last week I had a repeat head MRI and full spine MRI not with contrast. So armed with my symptom diary and list of questions im off to see Mr Neuro in the morning, wish me luck folks, I’ll keep you posted x
