Hello, as the sun comes out in Crowborough.
A lot of things need working on. I think I’ve had a lifetime of it.
It actually gives me a sense of achievement. At the moment I’m trying to build up my weaker muscles. Now that’s work.
Best wishes, Steve.
Steve. I want to come and sit down and have a conversation with you!
You write in such a witty, wonderful, descriptive way. I can visualise every incident, I can almost feel every emotion you describe. You make me smile and almost weep at some of these. As for the “work in progress”…isn’t life itself, a work in progress? I look forward to your next instalment. x
wonderful steve, as always.
you must have been a brilliant teacher!
you always hold my attention.
So you are the Steve I look forward to catching up with at physio on Tuesday, chats about football and stuff are always good. Life may be crap but we can always smile.

Really enjoyed reading your blog Steve. I used to live in Uckfield and have a good friend living in Crowborough. AND I too am a scouser lol. Moved down south in 1984. Now live in sunny Eastbourne. Keep writing and enjoy life!
Wow. I wonder if I ever met any of you?! I used to live in Eastbourne, hailsham, then Polegate, eventually returning to Ireland. Hubby worked in Uckfield, I know Crowborough well.
Hi Steve
I would happily subscribe to have access to your blog, always interesting and always thought provoking.
Now I am thinking isn’t it funny how you live and you learn to grow older and wiser to know better than to fall off the perch but doing so inevitably anyway.
I’m not sure evolution should see that we are born wiser and therefore the better human to begin with … seems a waste to grow old and wiser to be wiser for the shorter amount of time?!
oh dear … never mind…
I look forward to your next blog update
