white feet

Hi everyone! I am in the process of being investigated for ms and due to inflammation seen on thorasic mri and burning pain in legs with pins am needles in legs and hands I was put on gabapentin which has helped enormously :-)…however when I try to do any exercise half my foot goes white. It’s not cold my shoes aren’t tight …also today when swimming when I started getting tired my foot went into spasm can these 2 symptoms be related to ms and is it worth letting my neuro know? Thanks Sarah xx

I’m not sure about the white foot (perhaps circulation problem?) but spasms are pretty common in MS. Saying that, it could simply be because you’d been using it a lot. Tell the neuro both things anyway - it’s all extra info and he/she can decide what’s relevant.

Not circulation as up until 6 weeks ago was running 8 miles 3 x week so am pretty fit in that respect and never had this happen before. Also jhave no other circulatory symptoms! Thank you for taking the time to answer my answer my post and certainly will take your advice and tell my neuro Sarah x

Odd one, but when I was being investigated for a C5/C6 problem one of the symptoms was a pale hand and it was completely unexplained. I had a compression and fusion and it went away, but it was defo not circulatory as this was checked. Neuro? I wonder …

Hello - I know this is an old post, but just wondering what was the actual diagnosed issue with your foot going white. I have MS and both my feet do this - only when I walk. Was it MS related?
