Vivid Dreams and Hallucinations in PPMS

Hi. My husband is 72 and is experiencing vivid dreams and Hallucinations (he calls them apparitions). Sometimes he is stuck between dreaming and being awake. I don’t know if this is part of progression or if it is related to medication.

His legs are paralyzed and he has limited use of his hands. He is wheelchair bound. Progression was fast. Less than 2 years after diagnosis, he had gone from using a walking stick to being chair bound.

Hi

Could it be caused by any medication he is taking. The only reason I ask is because I take propanol for MS tremor and I had to lower the dose to stop very vivid dreams happening.

I wish you both all the very best take care.

Thank you. He’s been on Baclofen for a while. He doesn’t mind the dreams, but at least when he’s being weird I can say “you’re dreaming” and he acknowledged that’s what it is.
