Has anybody on Tysabri had all the ‘heavy duty’ vaccinations you need to go to Asia or on safari in Africa (that’s what I’m supposed to be doing!)? I’m just wondering if there are any known interactions between the vaccines and the stuff we have pumped into us on a monthly basis. J
I don’t know is the short answer. I would think it best to speak to you Neurologist/MS Nurse or GP about likley interactions, before having any vaccanations done.

I do not have answers, but this is a real issue, for sure, and one you need to talk to your neuro or MS nurse about before you have any live vaccines. I think there are particular concerns about yellow fever vaccination, but I really do not know the ins and outs and you need some expert advice. There is plenty of stuff on the web - google travel vaccinations and Tysabri and you will see. The US National MS Society has some good stuff. But you need your neurologist’s views, I am afraid.
