Husband who has SP is going through the mill with this at the moment. Has had it in the past and brought under control with oxycarbmazapine. However not this time.
We are going to the GP this afternoon, but they are out of their depth. Waiting for the MS nurse to call back. He is taking 1200mg a day spread out at intervals, taking 150mg each time. However he is also suffering with severe headache. Took his bP this morning and it is high. He is also feeling sick, another of the side effects. If he takes more then the side effects - balance, sickness, etc are unbearable. He had a bad fall a couple of weeks ago and is still bruised.
Any advice?
He is also thinking of having the gamma knife surgical procedure. Has anyone had this done?
