manchester international festival is underway.
i tried and failed to get tickets for the skriker, a play starring maxine peake.
it is about 2 sisters who meet the skriker - a shape shifting faerie/talisman of death.
maxine peake is a fine actor and really want to see how she handles this role.
they have added extra dates in july so will you all cross your fingers for me and any other body parts flexible enough!

Fingers crossed Carole for you - and l will practise the ‘other parts’. Any way you could contact the production company and ask for some ‘special’ tickets. Now is the time to play the ‘blue badge card’. And why not. l did well when my friends took me to see Pam Ayres last week.
i fully intend to use the blue badge card.
sheenagh is abroad at the moment and should be back by weekend.
so should i go ahead and book whilst there are tickets available?
