Hi all. I had a visit from the above on Tuesday.
Last time I went into an optician`s shop, I had difficulty getting into the various machines, as my wheelchair wouldnt play nice.
So 2 years ago, I rang Specsavers and arranged a home visit.
They came…did all the necessary and said my sight was unchanged…still had 20/20 vision for distance.
About 2 months ago, I got a letter telling me I was due for another test and to ring the shop. I did…but told them I am now an at home customer.
They said an appointment would come in the post…it didnt.
Then a week ago The Home Optician rang and said they were picking up the big name optician customers who hadnt a recent test.
Anyway they came…2 really nice men…did their tests and checked my optic nerve extra carefully, after I told them I have MS.
It seems I still have the 20/20 for distance and my reading prescription hasnt changed either. So no new glasses needed in 6 years!
I`m chuffed with that!
I recommend them to anyone who isnt getting out for their tests.
