That was a breezy night. What did you find in your garden?

Hiya

Well, that was some storm hitting us here in the north west last night. It’s was certainly windy to put it mildly.

In fact it was so biblical in proportions that I went into the garden this morning to check any damage. You know you hear of stories of fish falling from the sky. What did I find? A nice big solid block of unwrapped …cheese!

Hmmmmm…

Well Marty (aka Dangermouse)

Rinse it off and enjoy

I’m on the east coast and it was a bit blustery but that’s not unusual. I think this winter we have had it mild compared to your side of the country.

I can’t believe what I see on the news each day. The flood water is so deep in Somerset and last night roofs were ripped off, trees uprooted and power lines brought down. More rough weather forecast. The scenes remind me of the floods in Europe a few years back which covered vast areas …

Maybe it’s time we evolved back to webbed feet and hands here in Norfolk just in case …

Hi Marty

No cheese for me, but last night dreadful wind, mrain, thunder and lightening innGloucestershire, qnd some poor people flooded, really awful weather. Bit of a respite today, although we have had snow showers this morning, at the moment the sun is out…yippee!

Take care everyone.

Nothing last night but when we lived in Cyprus I found a joint of pork, my next door neighbour found a school bag, both dropped by birds. The shool did eventually put the cloakroom inside as kids were constanly having stuff stolen by the crows, they usually picked stuff out of bags, not the whole bag though! I was glad I found the pork before my dog as poisoning was very common. I also used to find (here) burger buns dropped by birds after a good bbq weekend.
