Hi
I have RRMS and never lose the numbness and tingling completely between relapses. I often ge periods of numbness, tingling or pain in random body parts (usually left lower leg, left hand or around my face/neck) It is worse if I’m a bit run down, poorly or stressed and worst of all during relapse. I spoke to my MS nurse about it and she said that it was not unusual.
Hopethat helps xx

My numbness and tingling definitely come and go. Methinks your consultant is a numpty. I could be ruder but shall restrain myself. Your symptoms sound very typical to me. You’re as normal as the rest of us…(laughing ironically). xx
Yep, numpty is the polite word indeed lol

Hi, I get numbness in my hands most nights and find that if I push my hand against the wall or headboard i can get it to go away. I recently spoke to my physio about this and she gave me compression bandages to wear for an hour a day. I find this helps a little. In regard to general or locum neuro I was told last year not to bother going to the appt as they are just there to tick boxes. You really need to see a consultant who specialises in ms if you have a diagnosis. I would be quite angry if a neuro told me that you don’t get pain with ms. I certainly do. Good luck
