Hi all,
My optician found that my left optic nerve is swollen and has referred me to hospital. My appointment is on Tuesday and I was just wondering if anything has experienced this and know what actually happens at this appointment? I have MS in my family (brother and uncle) but Optic Neuritis is not something that has ever been found in them.
Was just hoping to have a little knowledge of what Tuesday may look like.

It’s good that your optician is on the ball, but I am sorry that you have these worries to deal with.
MI think it’s just a matter of keeping an open mind and seeing what the neurologist has to suggest.

Thank you for your reply. I guess I just know how many things I have just ‘put up with’ over the months and now wonder if I should have made more noise about them. But hindsight is a wonderful thing. Hopefully whatever they find will explain the headaches and noises on my ear.
