Swimming?

As I`m not allowed to work and to get me out of the house away from daytime TV. I joined the local sports centre with a decent pool to exercise.

Although feeling strange at first I soon got into the swimming lengths without drowning.

Every so often when kicking my legs, and at one point a continuous pain, like an electric shock/current running through both of my legs which made me stop as it was too painful.

Yet I can cycle using an indoor bike without any issues all day long.

Is it because different muscles are being used or could it be being surrounded in water?

Or is this another symptom of MS?

I`ve yet to see my Neurologist to ask him.

I would say it’s because you’re using different muscle groups.

Probably start to ease off as you get more exercise ?

Probably using different muscles. Try varying the strokes. I used to go breast stroke one way, amd back stroke the other. Never managed to learn crawl for some reason. I found the back stroke worked shoulder muscles (didn’t use my legs much) and the other worked my knees…although my legs were all over the place.
