Hi, welcome to the club no one wants to be a member of!
Sorry to hear you were diagnosed back in September, but it’s good that you’ve started meds already. How are you finding them?
There’s a wealth of information and experience on here, so look around and join in!
Hi, I was diagnosed on 13th Sept this year and I had no idea at all that he was going to say I have MS. I was in such shock that I think at some point I just walked out of the neuro office and went home!!
I have researched everything furiously, I don’t know everything, I’m currently getting a list of questions at the ready for when I have my next conversation with neuro/nurse.
Whatever it is you’re struggling with, you are not on your own. Feel free to be open here.
Sometimes reading the accounts of others can be helpful even if only for perspective.
Take care xxx
Hi Rach,
Understand how difficult it is coming to terms with a diagnosis.
This site will give you some answers. Look at the advice pages.
Top tip
Keep an MS diary - when symptoms start, when they stop.
When you start medication.
Any appointments- write the outcome
If you buy any equipment to help - walking stick etc.
Just means that if or when you apply for PIP you have a written timeline of your progression.
Glad you’ve started medication.
Take care
Jen
