I have been offered a SPC (supapubic catheter) operation later this month. I have been waiting ages so it was a good call to get.
My question is: do I have to have a daily leg bag? I have had one whilst I currently have a urethral catheter but I hope there is another way!

You can have a catheter valve instead (you could actually have used one with a urethral catheter). When your bladder needs emptying, simply flip a lever to open the valve, or self catheterise. At night though, attach a night bag.
