Hello Everyone –
Something On Our Minds Volume 2 has just been released. It is a benefit anthology of fiction and essays and poetry written by and put together by people with MS. The book is a 100% benefit endeavor for the NMSS. Maybe for Volume 3 a portion of the monies can go to the Myelin Repair Foundation. I’ll have to wrangle with the other editors about that.
So, Volume 2 included contributions from Spain, Canada, and New Zealand. Not inclusive enough but far better than the RWB only Volume 1. Yes I want the book to sell (yeah – I’m one of the editors) but I want too to reach out to writers and would-be writers globally and solicit their participation going forward. Write with us please.
The MS community is ridiculously small relative to global populace. We need voices. And we need voices that are arguing more for cures rather than railing against the outlandish costs of minimally effective DMTs. We need voices that swim in the tragic humor of MS. And we need more voices producing…yops.
The website we have in the works is not up and running yet. I will be more than happy to keep any interested parties up to speed with respect to that.
