Hi Just sound advice please if this sounds like MS, due to have an MRI 14th of May. Docter doesn’t believe it’s MS… Anxiety stress related. I’m 26 year old male. It all started at Xmas time, I started getting tingling in both hands and feet, went to the doc x2 and all blood tests came back clear. Thr tingling seemed to clear away for two weeks, then return end of Jan, with other symptoms; which included a burning/numb lip and palms of hands; these symptoms have come and gone daily; two weeks later I started getting what seemed like zaps mainly on my hands and feet but occasionally on body too; I also got pins and needles in feet cramp feeling on calves occasionally but subsides after a couple of minutes. Then at the end of February I started to see floaters; and began to have as it seemed ice pike headaches behind my eyes and temples, with this I also have a dull ace over my forehead and weirded sensations around my head which I have had daily for 3 weeks but know subsided. At the moment I’m experiencing most of the above and body feeling heavy however still have complete movement. Body aches but Mild Pain in legs. crawling sesations on left heel and palms and chin and face; and all over body twitching and internal body vibrations and waking up with numbness and tingling in hands. Could MS progresss so quickly? Has anyone experience these sort of patten? Thank you for reading.
I can’t realky say whether your symptoms are MS, I’m not a doctor and I am aware there are other conditions that have similar symptoms.
That said, tingling in my hands is my main symptom. I also have tingling in my feet but I don’t notice it as much. Internal vibrations and crawling sensations are also things I am familiar with.
Try not to worry and stay away from google! I’m afraid only a neuro can make a diagnisis, but the fact you’re hsving an MRI will help. Good luck.
Any thoughts or advice please would be very appreciated
Had Optic neuritus back in 2007 , The problem cleared and got back to normal sight in about 2 months , Since then i’ve had 3 MR I’s , The first one showed two lesions on the brain , the second showed 2 had disapeared and shown up in diferent areas and the third one has shown 3 in total .
Had a consultation with the specialist a month ago who suggested that i had a very minor form of MS , At that point all the problems from 2007 up to 2013 were intermittent periods of fatigue lasting from a week to 2 weeks in length but since the meeting i’ve now run into what i call a totally new problem which may or may not be a consequence of MS. Its the problem of feeling fatigue and a loss of balance when moving around. Any ideas on which direction to go would be appreciated. I’m seeing my GP this week to explore seeing the consultant again .
