I know I’ve spoken about stiffness before but mornings are getting a joke. Now my neck has joined in my knees are reAlly stiff to bend and my legs don’t really go in the right directions in the morning. On Xmas Eve my wrist went totally immobile and pain for 5 mins I couldn’t hole my fork. Is this to do with the November and December relapses. This had all started since ur started injecting.
Is the stiffness a side effect of your injections? I know when I was using rebif (don’t know what dmd you are on?) stiffness was a big issue for me. Do you take pain relief before injecting? I’d give the nurse a call anyway, talk things out and see what he/she suggests. Hope you feel better soon.

I had to stop. Persevered for four months and nothing improved, it just got worse. Severe stiffness in the morning, headaches, low mood etc…But that’s me, plenty of people don’t have these issues. How long have you been taking extavia for? Could just be the bedding in period and things may settle down for you. Do give your nurse a call they may have some solutions for you 
I’m pretty sure its the interferon, what pain killers do you take after injection, maybe change to 400mg ibuprofen etc. or a 500mg para depending on what you take.
Most of the time on rebif I get nothing and every so often I get severe stiffness in neck, wrist and fingers feel like I have
arthritis and fingers want to snap. With me it does ease off slowly as the day goes on.
