I know itâs easy for me to tell you not to be scared.
5 yrs ago my wife ( partner at the time ) had to wait over Christmas for the results of a biopsy, triggered by a routine check.
She had a lumpectomy and was home in the evening.
Having no reaction to the anaesthetic made things easier.
Then a course of radiotherapy and tablets for 5 yrs.
Touch wood.
Everything is OK
Everything will be OK for you.
Excellent treatments available these days and great progress is being made.
Please try not to worry you will be in excellent hands.
YOU WILL BE OK.

Hello again all my friends, I have just had a call from the breast nurse and she said they had a cancellation for the 15th of August and she said she thought of me and I now have my op then. I am so very grateful that things are moving quickly and would like to thank you all again. I will keep in touch xxxx

Youâve got a huge amount to deal with. I think youâre very courageous.
Iâve written âMarydanâ on a post-it note and stuck it on the wall over my desk. That way Iâll remember to think positively for you every day.

You must feel like the unluckiest person in the world. Please donât be offended if I ask you never to pick my lottery numbers!
Iâll be keeping an eye out for you and wishing you all the best. I have got some breathing exercises that I do when I being to panic to try and bring my stress levels down. This may help a tiny bit and looking into it may take your mind off things for 0.25 seconds.

So sorry to hear this rubbish news. 22nd August will soon be here and you can start kicking this cancer up the bum from then on.
I will be thinking of you and hope that all will be positive from 22nd August onwards.
Remember we are here for you, especially over the next 2 weeks when you are waiting for the 22nd to come.

I am just in from my gp and she is so lovely and has said that things are rubbish right now but I have got it quick, hopefully that is the case. I will keep you all posted and thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all your kindness. I know we do not know each other personally but you truly are my friends. xxxx
