Scared+unsure needs advice please 🥺

Hiya,
I’m not diagnosed, still waiting on my neuro appointment.
I just wanted to ask what it’s like after a relapse. I think I’ve experienced my first one, I’ve had symptoms before (some going back 5+ years) but not connected the dots until I was researching fribrmalagia (which is what they thought I had) and suddenly realised I was agreeing with all these things and I’d accidentally hit on an ms link. So I raised the question with my doctor who actually listened and did various reflex examinations etc and looked confused and referred me :joy:
So, back to my question (I’m sorry I’m rambling :woman_facepalming:t3:) …my symptoms came on, some gradually getting worse, others just appeared, and have lasted about a month so far. But I’m starting to feel a little better in myself like the tunnel is ending lol. But the problems with walking have continued. The muscle twitching in both legs, my left leg goes numb in the butt/thigh area and I can’t stand by myself for more than 10mins max. Walking I feel very unsteady and need to lean on things. Is this here to stay??? Or will it gradually get better?? Before this patch I use to get tired and experienced typical frbro pains, electric shock down limbs, itchy skin, bubbles in the muscles etc but I portioned out my energy and managed to walk twice a week in good times, by listening to my body and paying attention to the warning signs I’d done too much. I knew if I rested for a few days I’d be ok.
I enjoy walking but now I can’t walk around my garden steadily let alone go for a walk in the woods :disappointed: please tell me it gets better??

Hello,
MS relapse symptoms are sometimes different with different sufferers.
I have RRMS. I find usually after a Relapse, you steadily recover (Remitting) and feel better again.
Hope once you’re referred to a specialist, you receive the treatment for your symptoms.
Best,
JP
