So for about 8 weeks I’ve been experiencing the most abnormal things I’ve ever felt in my life. It all started when I was meant to be revising for my upcoming GCSE’s then all of a sudden it felt like ants where crawling on my leg. Ever since then it has stopped completely or come back as tingling but I’ve also experienced arm and leg fatigue which is there in the morning and fades away as the day goes on. I’ve also had muscle twitching for a long while and it just scares me to death I have ms cause I’ve never felt anything like this before and it’s got to the point where I have literally convinced myself I have ms and I am waiting for the pandemic to finish to the doctors can tell me I have ms. But I really don’t want that to be the case. [removed by moderator]
Hi there. I guess you are a young person…due to doing your exams.
Please try not to get hung up on the idea that you have MS.
With all the stress of exams, perhaps its that and nothing serious.
I do hope that is the case.
Keep safe.

Hello
As Boudica said, you are presumably young. You are less likely to have MS as a teenager than if you were at least in your 20s. It’s not unknown for people under 20 say to have MS diagnosed, just less common.
Your symptoms don’t actually sound very MS-like to me (bear in mind most of us on here are not medically trained, we just speak from experience - so take anything any of us say with a pinch of salt and a healthy degree of scepticism!). MS symptoms generally last for at least 24 hours, and in my experience, much longer than that (weeks at least). So any symptoms that you have which last some hours rather than days, are less likely to be caused by MS.
What I suggest you do is start keeping a diary of what happens to you are when. Keep notes of what happens, how long things last and whether they get completely better or not. Ask your doctors surgery for a phone consultation with a GP. Explain what’s been happening to you and ask for a referral to a neurologist. It’s a fair point that this may not happen for some time, but you could get the ball rolling and maybe put some of your anxiety to rest if you know that you’ve done what you can.
Have a look at https://www.mstrust.org.uk/about-ms/ms-symptoms-and-relapses It may give you a bit more understanding as to what symptoms could be related and what might not. Keep in your mind though that once you have seen a neurologist that many people’s MS presents quite differently to what you’re experiencing and often there could be a fairly straightforward solution to your problems.
Try to stop worrying about MS. Chances are it’s not MS; it might be something less scary and hopefully fixable.

Hi, new here and terrified. I have been under investigation for ms since 2012. So far I haven’t had a diagnosis and my last MRI was 2016. However I’m supposed to have had another one around now but i just can’t. I can’t. All the research and things i have been told so far are that it could be PPMS. I have symptoms. The thing I cannot cope with is this. My daughter has T1 diabetes only diagnosed about 4 and a half years ago She is 33. It ruined her career. Now she has a beautiful daughter 3 yrs old and is constantly in fear of passing it on to her. I cant cope with the idea that if I have MS ( which scares me anyway) that I will have been responsible for giving my daughter T1 (When she was diagnosed she was asked if there was anything like this in the family) and if my little granddaughter gets T1 its all on me. I know what i should be doing but I just can’t.Its hard to put into words how terrified I am.
