Today we said Tata to out lovely aunty Anne. It was a beautiful send off, with standing room only at the crematorium. At the do afterwards, it was a good chance to catch up with cousins and other folk.

my condolences to you and your family.
it was at my 95 year old Aunty’s funeral last year. Her 4 children were all there; 10 out of 12 grandchildren were there ( the other 2 were overseas) and her 5 great grand children were there. Aunty Betty was in good health up until a couple of years before her death. She had been married for 67 years before Uncle John passed away a few years ago.
It seems odd to say but it was a lovely, lovely funeral. For every tear, there was 100 laughs as we recalled stories of Betty and John.
