Right, that's it!

Evening all!

Some of you may remember I saw my urologist in September re a naughty bladder…despite my spc being great most of the time, I was having spasms everyday and some by-passing.

He did offer botox, but suggested I give oxybutynin patches a try. I did so. I dropped the betmiga and for a couple of weeks, everything seemed fine. But then I started with itchiness…arms, chest and groin. It became a real problem.

Then I stopped using the patches and am back on betmiga. The itching has waned.

I’ve just wet meself.

Argghh! I am supposed to be seeing the urologist next month, but am still waiting for an appointment to come. I rang today to ask if it is happening. Yes, I will see him, but no actual appointment as yet!

I’m going for botox!

Poll

fingers crossed that you feel a bit better soon, I really hope that you get some good help quickly

All the best

Mick

In my area the hospitals have started onlysending apps out within a month of the actual date to " make it easier for patients to remember to turn up "

In my case a reminder on the day might even be forgotten …head like a sieve.

Don’t fret Poll you are in good company…seriously I hope this situation is helped asap

Ell

Go for it Poll, I think it’ll help. And it’s an easy procedure. No need for a general (I know they sometimes like to but it’s nit necessary).

Good luck with it all. It really is a p…r (s’cuse the pun!). Anne x

Good wishes.

It’s such a basic and fundamental function that we feel it’s a right. Thou shalt pee at one’s own choice.
