I’ve been suffering from painful, crampy feet all day (ongoing issue for me), which Baclofen was doing little to resolve. So around 2:30, I took some codeine - or thought I did - and went to bed.
I’ve just woken with that familiar, slight codeine hangover, that tends to be the price I pay for not wanting to live with the painful feet any more.
EXCEPT…it can’t be, because I’ve just found the codeine I supposedly took, on the table, exactly where I’d left it. I forgot to take it!
Unsurprising it didn’t do much for my feet, in that case, but more surprising I have the headache I’ve come to associate with recent codeine use.
So now I’ve got headache AND footache, and haven’t actually taken any pills (except the regular Baclofen) for either of them.
It’s Saturday night - think I’ll just have a drink instead.
