REVENGE IS SWEET...(this is for all of us with a Blue Badge)...

I went to my little local High Street today, to buy a birthday card. The street only has 2 Blue Badge bays.

I did not park in the bay as I felt that there may be someone else who may of needed it more than me.

On going into the card shop, a ‘Tat Van’… you know the sort… they come round and collect your scrap metal. He parked his tatty van over BOTH of the bays and he nipped into the bookies … I felt ANNOYED.

I then came out of the card shop. I then went into the Supermarket to get a present to go with my card. The Van is still there… by now I felt ANGERED.

When I came out of the Supermarket… guess what… the Van was still there. Now I am ENRAGED…

Now then… having one of these new swanky Iphones I am able to take pictures and send them to whoever I like.

Being married to the Local Police Officer… guess who I sent that picture too ?.. YEP MY HUSBAND !!!

NOW GUESS WHO GOT A £30.00 PARKING FINE …not me …

keeps saying pg 404 not found when i try to peply to this

ok now its workin lol, nice one, i hope that teaches them a lesson

well done it is bloody annoying when people do this I hope the driver of the van did get a fine. Mind you I did have a go at a copper once when he parked across two bays, so they are notr always perfect.

A friend of mine (valid blue badge) used to take delight in blocking non-blue-badgers-parked-in-disabled-bays in. He said it was because he would love them to try and ask the disabled man to move his car - he reckoned the embarassment factor would always prevent them from doing it. In all the times I’ve been out and about with him, not ONCE has someone come and asked him to move so they can get out!

It never ceases to amaze us how many times people park directly behind us thus preventing us being able to access the ramp for Jan to get back into the car. There is an enormous sign on the back of our vehicle to ask people not to park within 3 metres of the ramp but they still do.

Fabulous, well done, love your story.

I was going into the parking area at our local shops one day, following another car, and noticed the only free space was a disabled space. I watched with disbelief as the lady in the car in front parked in that space, jumped out and went into one of the shops. There was no blue badge in her car, so I parked across in front of her and blocked her in, clearly displaying my own blue badge. I went into the post office to do what I had to do keeping an eye out for the owner of that car. She came back to her car fairly quickly but I hung around in the post office for a few more minutes before I went out to challenge her. She was very apologetic, said she didn’t think it would matter for just a few minutes. I assured her that it certainly did matter.

mum finds a problem with people parking their cars on the dropped kerbs or pull up on a dropped kerb just to run into the shop or the bookies, shes in a tank ( scooter) so mums got little slips with her if we cant find the driver to put on the windscreens telling them shes in a scooter through no fault of her own and she needs dropped kerbs to cross the road, so next time to think where they park their cars, if i see them get out there cars, i follow them into the shop, bookies or where ever they have gone and ask loudly who the cars owner is and ask them to move it as my disabled mum cant get across the road as they have parked on a dropped kerb, they dont like that n generally tend to get gobby, which i get gobby back, i dont care, aslong as i embarass them i care not lol lol

Good one

I always say ‘What goes around, comes around’

Whatever that means!

They should have given him 2 £30.00 fines he was in two bays.

Our local traffic warden is quite hot on this. My dad saw him challenge a Blue Badge holder trying to park next to a dropped kerb, the driver insisted he could park anywhere due to his Blue Badge but the traffic warden (quite rightly) said ‘not there, you can’t, and if you don’t move I will give you a fine’! The disgruntled driver had to move on and find another area to park. Some of them don’t read the rules of the Blue Badge and forget about mobility scooters and wheelchair users sadly, like all areas of life there are some selfish people.

Good One You Want a pat on the backwell done, time these people are told we have the blue badge BECAUSE we need it not as a fashion button. regards Jan xx

Happens to us too! Ignorant and infuriating folk!
I wouldn’t have gone out and challenged her. I would have found a cafe and had a coffee. Then gone and had my hair permed. Then another coffee. Then some window shopping. Xx
Really chuckled at this! You’re right, I should have done exactly what you’re described.
