hi all
can anyone tell me an alternative to 'Pregabalin' for restless legs of an evening time please? the meds itself works good but it leaves me even more 'fatigued' during the next day. which as you guys know, is a real pain in the ar*e :(
ty for all and any replies

I have great results with magnesium spray. It is an oil so don’t spray it and get it on the floor! I spray it on my palm and rub on my calves and feet. Helps me to sleep too.
Hi Poppy
Thank you for your reply and I will definately be giving this a go. I’l let you know how it works for me.
Do you know though, if it ‘interacts’ badly with any other meds please?

I’ve never heard of anything and even though I’m only taking supplements and a thyroid script, my gp and neurologist never commented. Also, the spray being topical by passes the gut so I’m pretty sure it won’t affect anything. Ask your pharmacist. They know more about medication than gps!

Hi Anna
I use magnesium as well. I have it as a tablet though, rather than the spray. Magnesium is found in lots of food (greens, bananas, salmon, nuts…) so I don’t think it will react. I take a ton of other medication, and not had any problems.
