Was due for a Tysabri infusion tomorrow but close contact tested positive for covid so been rescheduled by 10 days.
Slightly panicking because of the gap between infusions which is usually 6 weeks but now could run to 8 weeks.
Looking for a bit of reassurance that I’m just being overdramatic.
You are not being over dramatic, but you have identified one of the drawbacks of six weekly infusions - there is just that bit less slack in the system if circumstances intervene. I’m sure you’ll be fine and that there will be enough of the drug in your system to see you through, but I completely understand your concern. It’s been a worry in the back of the minds of all of us on Tysabri in this age of Covid, I think.
