Hope today is being good to you all and having a lovely day.
Hubby and me decided we needed a couple of days by the seaside relaxing, and you know me, never one to pass down a trip to the sea, so on Sunday we ventured out to Burnham on Sea.
All went well first day, although bit too hot for me, a lovely sea breeze helped, but day two didn’t feel very good and as the day progressed felt worse. At 6pm when I was really quite ill, hubby phoned for an ambulance, and although we waited for hours, was taken to Weston hospital where I spent the night. Lots of tests and told deep routed chest infection, stay there for the week on anti biotic drip etc, but I thought I just can’t. I asked the lovely doctor could I please have it tablet form and go home, so armed with anti biotics, steroids and pain killers we came home. In bed for last 5 days with own doctor visiting, and although horrible side effects from medication, I am pleased to say I think I have turned the corner.
So much for our relaxing break by the sea, but such is life, there will be another day for that.
Oh! Pam how awful for you but so glad your feeling better. What a bummer to happen on your holidays.
We are away at the weekend to a family wedding in Ireland and I am feeling a bit apprehensive about the trip. Have booked airport assistance and am well insured, just in case.
Hope you can get away to the seaside sometime soon to make up for things.
sorry to hear that Pam,what an awful thing to happen on your few days away, talk about timing.Hope you manage another trip when you recover from this.Hope you feel stronger soon.
