Relapse question.

I am mid relapse, and over the last couple of days been improving, I’ve been getting stronger and beginning to walk again, however, I woke up today and fallen back again with twice as bad headaches, vertigo, and deteriorating eye sight. Iwas diving is it normal for it to be SO variable? One day I’m healthy, the next I’m bed ridden.

Hi Beth I wish I could answer that question for you. Everybody differs with MS. I find even when Im not relapsing some days are worse than others. Hope this helps x

Hi Beth,

from my experience and my grandma’s and also my aunts, Yes we all have ms (rubbish) i know but It does seem to be a rollercoaster full of ups and downs but just because you are having a bad day or days does not mean you are having a full blown relapse again i was told by a top neuro a few years ago its often the nature of the condition but it does not mean to say that your future will always be so . My aunt proved this to me many times with symptoms being around for quite sometime then disapearing sometimes for years. My advice would be when having a rubbish day learn to accept it and know that it will pass as stress and worry will not help, just look forward to the next good period.I have turned this outlook over the years into a positive as it has taught me to value every good day which i make the most of big time. Please do the same.I hope this helps.

stay strong and take care.

Thank you for the replys! I know MS shall always throw the unknown in. I must tell mum as well, as that was a question she asked…

Thank you once again!

Greatly appreciated.

Beth xx
