I know this might sound like a rather weird question, but does anyone suffer from a sore and sometimes tingly tongue?
yes, I do. It can also go numb and give me the most horrible taste too
Yes I definitely do and the temperature sensation is sometimes wrong but it’s not the whole tongue. Tea’s horrible as it use to feel cold. Thankfully I’m over this and it only reappears when I’ve overdone it and am really tired.
It’s not detrimental but annoying nontheless.

There are two sensory nerves for the tongue. One does the front two thirds and one does the back third. I think (from memory!) that they are both branches of the trigeminal nerve. It’s not uncommon for MSers to get weird sensations in their tongue
