I have been put on ramipril recently and my legs feel stiffer and both of my ankles are swollen. Does anyone on here take these
? It also gives me shocking heartburn

I have PPMS, CML and Cervical Spondylosis. I take 10mg Ramipril at night before bed. I have suffered from heartburn for many years and tried everything over the counter, the only thing that actually worked was a medication called Ranitidine available over the counter. This medication may not be suitable with other you take. I now take Omeprizol that is prescribed 1 a day in the morning is like a miracle, never had heartburn since and although I shouldn’t, I love spicy food and still don’t get heartburn.
You are right about the swelling, I get the same legs, feet and ankles.
I was prescribed the Ramipril along with Amlodipine due to my CML meds giving me high risk of heart failure etc.
