Our wonderful and hilarious friend from some time ago, Woblyboy, passed away on the 10th March.
He was well loved on the forum and his humour helped many of us get through some very dark days, including me since dx in 2005.
As a Tribute to Woblyboy here is one of his many jokes that put a smile on many of our faces for some 10 years.
So the bosses wife hosted a dinner party for all the team, some they hadn’t seen for quite a while, and some they’d not met their partners, or offspring and so all were encouraged to bring their children as well.
A real team building social event was hoped for all.
During dinner the Bosses second in commands four-year-old stared at him sitting across the table from her. The girl could hardly eat her food for staring at him. The guys checked his shirt for spots, felt his face for food, patted his hair in place but nothing stopped her from staring. He tried his best to just ignore her but finally it was too much. He finally asked her, “Why are you staring at me?”
Everyone at the table had also noticed her behaviour and the table went quiet for her response . . . . … . .
The little girl said “I’m just waiting to see how you drink like a fish.”
You were one in a million Woblyboy. X
