I saw my new MS nurse today. I’ve just had a UTI and Antibiotics. The walking I have is rubbish, my speech isn’t great, my memory and brain skills are pants. I was beginning to think if I was getting dementia too!
I’ve never heard of pseudo MS before but there is a lot out there on the web. The current heat,infection and antibiotics all point to it though. I’m relieved that it’s ok that my brain mush but has anyone experienced this and how long might it go on for?

When my symptoms get worse with an infection I often get relief with Paracetamol but it’s getting rid of the infection that’s key.
pseudo relapses feel like the real thing.
i always check for a UTI first.

I get UTI’s now and again. No matter how I’m doing otherwise, the UTI always knocks the MS to hell and I’m absolutely awful until the UTI clears up.
