Post Lumbar Puncture Symptoms

Hi!!

I had my Lumbar Puncture on 4 days ago to help diagnose MS. I’m still getting some symptoms after so just wanted to check if anyone else had this & it was normal?
I get a headache & back pain when I sit up in the morning, it then subsides a bit but will come and go. I’ve been nauseous & did vomit this morning, but I do also suffer with anxiety so the nausea could be either. I also get a bit dizzy when I stand up or sit up.

Is this all normal & how long should I expect things to last? I spoke to the doctor this morning and she said it was all normal and different people get different symptoms but I just wanted to hear from other people I guess :blush:

I am sorry to hear this. It is good that you have spoken to a doctor and had reassurance from someone who knows that your symptoms are in the normal range, albeit (evidently) at the unlucky end of it. I hope that you feel much better soon.

thank you! I ended up going back to the hospital yesterday & they put me on some strong painkillers & anti-sickness so fingers crossed this helps :crossed_fingers:t2:
