Hello all,
I posted last year but I am still in the same boat. Back story, I have had pins and needles in my feet constantly for 5 years or more. I have had blood tests that had shown low b-12 levels, low folate and high lactate levels. I had sepsis in 2016, I was in an induced coma, so I am not sure if my symptoms started after that year. I recently went for an eye exam because I was getting tension headaches and blurry vision which is uncommon for me, he said he was concerned about my blood pressure, it was high for my age, he referred me to the doctors but all they did was check my blood pressure and it was normal. I also have to wear glasses now for the first time in my life, I’ve never had problems with my vision until now at the age of 33. Symptoms have gotten worse, I have episodes of stomach spasms, last attack was last July, went to a and e because it was painful, they gave me stomach spasm medication and that was that. The stomach spasms last for days and they feel like contractions. I get cramp in my right foot. Pins and needles are in my feet all day every day. I have started with leg cramps and now I have a goosebump feeling on my right arm that comes in waves, right hand cramp (new symptoms) symptoms have always been my feet so the arm and hand is a new one. I apologise if this is long and I know no one can say its Ms because I know it can be related to other conditions. I am unsure if my symptoms are leaning towards peripheral neuropathy or Ms. Other symptoms are: right pelvis pain, when I stand up or too quickly I get this sharp pain in my right quadrant. I have developed a callus on the bottom of my foot which hurts to walk on sometimes. I don’t have diabetes, I’ve had many blood tests for that and thyroid. I don’t know what to do, if to go back to the doctors or just carry on living like this. I think it can’t be Ms because I have had these symptoms for years and nothing has changed. My communication and speach is awful, I stutter a lot now which I didn’t do before, I avoid talking to people because I get tongue tie and I don’t know what to say (I work in a customer environment) how do I go down the route for a neuro? Possibly a mri on the spine? Because I know I have a problem with my nervous system. Thank you and I apologise for this essay.
