i’ve been struggling with a very bad cold and today i was blowing my nose when i coughed at the same time.
my right ear popped and i’ve had earache ever since
i was moaning in my sleep and my husband asked me what was wrong. it wasnt earache any more.
its just the left side of my jaw and its excruciating
could this be trigeminal neuralgia?
is there anything i can take for it?

The med that’s normally prescribed for TN is carbamazepine. Best to see your GP as soon as you can though because it might not be TN - that pop might mean you’ve burst something

Think Karen said it all really… Urgent Gp’s appointment for you Carole.
((((((((((HUGS))))))))))) and I hope you feel better soon.

Oh and a quick PS
TN is weird in that it almost NEVER wakes someone or causes pain when asleep. Bizarre…
I’d be more concerned about a ruptured eardrum or bad ear infection.

Beware of the Carbam-stuff (rude word) I take it and it increases my unsteadyness. David
