Hi Ann, well it’s certainly not uncommon with MS although it’s generally more a problem with RRMS.
In your shoes, I think I would go and see and optician just to get a 2nd opinion. GP’s are certainly not eye specialists.
From what I understand, once the inflammation goes the eyesight returns to how it was before. But an optician will be able to put your mind at rest.

Thinking of you… it’s very frightening to have vision problems but hopefully it will soon return to normal.
