Two things to look at, lushcaz:
Power and Safety!
If a lift is battery powered, what sort of batteries, and how many lifts on a full charge?
If it is mains powered - what do you do when there is a power cut?
Is there proper guarding to stop anyone falling down the hole, or to be underneath when the lift comes down?
Get those sorted and then you can start asking what the service is like in an emergency

Hi there,
So far one company has shown us in the event of a powercut which we have had a few, there is an emergency button which gets you back down safely. We also have this with our stairlift.
Luckily our rooms are quite spacious and will fit in quite nicely.
These all have to be made to spec and can take a few weeks but he says they can be fitted in 2 days.
Right now it is needed badly as hubby getting weaker to transfer on and off the stairlift and it wears him out as well as me. And some days he has had to stay whichever floor he is on. Luckily we have 2 hospital beds upstairs and down incase of this happening.
Hi
Do you have a toilet upstairs and down, if you only have one, if the toilet is upstairs what happens during a power cut and he is down stairs.
I had the ground floor of my house turned into a flat with a wet room.
It is small but it works for me.
Ronin.
