Open Day - Find out about Driving assesments etc

This message is particularly relevant to people who live in the Cardiff/SE Wales area but there might be similar near to where you live.

I was at my GP today and saw a poster advertising an Open Day run by the “Wales Mobility and Driving Assessment Service”

" the Wales Mobility and Driving Assessment Service welcomes you to visit our centre to view demonstrations of the Static Assessment Rig, Adapted Vehicles, Wheelchair Passenger Solutions and Scooters.

Occupational Therapist will be available to discuss and demon strate the Rookwood Battery of cognitive tests used in driving assessment

Further information telephone 02920 555 130 or website www.wmdas.co.uk"

The open day is scheduled for 17th September between 10am and 3pm at the Driving Assesment Centre. Rookwood Hospital, Llandaff.

The Assessment Service is not a commercial organisation - it is a charity partially supported by the Welsh Government.

Sounds great! Are you going?
