Hi been off forum for a bit not being mentally very well, just pop back a few times. I find myself answering posts then going back in and seeing they are dragged up old posts.
This is confusing I think it would be more beneficial for posters to ok read an old post but then create a new one.
I dont see very well at the moment and only working on half a tank of brain.
Oh and morning and i hope you are all coping as well as you can. x
Stunning cat.
I aspire to having half a brain. The random nature of following threads is pretty damn confusing. Hope you are well.
My (no longer with us) moggy
hi i nearly went for a shorthair, but then saw Leo.
His lineage is mother is a ragdoll x maine coone, and his father is full Turkish Angora. Leo is rare cream his brother and sister are pure white. I think he has some of his mum (maine coone) and his dad. His fur is amazing long and soft. He is going to be big, nearly 10 weeks i will have had him a week friday. He sure is loving and funny and loves all his toys.
I am ok got a lot on with my health. Had good convo with neuro on phone yesterday. we are going to try and meet up in january. Its my 4th anniversay next week when i lost my mike.
I will try and pop in but dont feel very compassionate at the moment so tired and in pain and down to be honest.
I miss my friends on here so had to pop in. Take care i always think of you all and wonder how your doing. xxx CC.
What a fluffy soft combination of breeds. Should have a friendly disposition too. Sorry you are feeling so uncomfortable and down. I hope things improve for you.
Mick
When I looked at Leo’s photo again, I can see the ragdoll type fur. He is certainly going to be a big boy with Maine Coon. And about as soft and cuddly as a cloud with Angora. What a charmer. My cat is cream coloured too. Some think he’s butterscotch coloured and others think he has a touch of the ‘gingers’. I think he’s more ‘strawberry blonde’ than anything.
My own boy thinks he’s a big old panther, but in reality he’s as soft as butter. Except when he’s whinging about having Advocate applied!!
I am so sorry you’re approaching the 4 years anniversary of losing Mike. I can hardly believe it’s been that long. It must at times feel like that for you. Time is a weird thing, sometimes it probably feels like it was only last week that you lost Mike and other times every single day of that 4 years. It’s awful losing the one you love so dearly. I think I can speak for us all who were regulars on the forum at the time, we were so sorry for your devastating loss after Mike had been ill for so long. We know how you loved your hubby.
You are missed on here. I know there are times when we all feel a bit of compassion burn out, especially when it’s a bad time for us with pain, depression, and general fatigue and utter weariness. Many of us are trying to fill the void left by your kind and generous answering of the scared and worried new and undiagnosed. I don’t think there is anyone who is quite so good at answering their posts as you.
When you’re feeling better, we’ll be happy to see you back. Our dear Crazy Chick. Meanwhile, we just keep on going. MS is a dam bugger of a disease.
Hi, I was sorry to hear that you are feeling poorly and hope that you feel better very soon. I think it gets a little more difficult as we grow older because apart from MS we have the normal old age ailments to contend with as well! I am probably one of the oldest members on this forum !!
What a gorgeous kitten! My cat is now 21 years old and we have had her since she was six weeks old. She walks very stiffly (bit like me) and is so demanding. She still cuffs our dog if he gets in her way!
I’m frustrated with new site. Threads are difficult to follow.

Love your little cat. I’m moving soon and may get myself a cat. Good company, entertaining and keeps your lap warm in Winter!!
hi sue yes i have lucy she is 15 in january. possibly has cancer but they dont want biopsy as at the moment she is ok, i.e. she runs around and eats ok. the kitten has given her a new lease too, as she trys to play with him.
having Leo has really helped me. I forget my woes as he seems to try and cheer me up lol.
yes i have my wildlife channel. i havent lately because the weather has been dire i dont want the camera to get too damp even if its waterproof.
21 years old wow now thats a good age. either way lol. (those were the days).
trying to live MS free is healthy. i think we should all just sick back away from it like a holiday. being constantly reminded we have it is hard on the emotional self.
hopefully my daughter and grandson will be with me today.
Leo is a star. I love kittens. He looks like a cuddly, gorgeous, playful time stealer. The fluffiness is lovely.
Kittens on hard flooring are especially fun - they slide all over the place. My little charm bucket used to have a thing for paper - I had such fun throwing balls of paper and watching him chasing it. There ended up with bits of paper everywhere!
Enjoy the kitten and the family. I bet your grandson will adore Leo!
Hi CC what a lovely video Leo is very busy. Great entertainment much more interesting than tv. Sadly Daisy (my cat) is now so elderly she spends most of her day curled up on my lap. When she was younger her favourite toys were ping pong balls.
Hope you had a family visit today. My Daughter and Grandson came for lunch today. He is only five years old but like a whirlwind racing through the house but great to see them.
I had to make sure he didnt take him lol. my grandson is 22 and fell in love with the kitten. He has other animals of his own but never seen a kitty quite like LEO, and my daughters x shizu sweets, wanted to play with him all the time lol. So nan was ignored. Leo won out lol.
I had a lovely morning she did her washing and had a shower my daughter. she lives up on our land 7 acres with numerous horses and rescued dogs and puppies. my grandson joined her. they live in caravans very basic but love the life.Lucky i am only a few minutes away from her having a shower which the one she has never seems to work lol. Dont even ask about toilet arrangements…
she has most of my clothes lol. I buy new trousers but they are too warm for me on the leg so she always goes back with new things. To behonest hers are usually covered in horse dung, puppy hair etc and hard work.
I managed to put together a roast dinner with my halogen oven (best thing ever, takes 1.5 to cook the chicken, then i just add aunt bessie roast spuds and parnsips. she puts the veg in microwave when she comes (all frozen yes aunt bessie lol and other makes) and makes gravy. Oh yes sainsburys stuff balls and pigs in blankets. we cook all of them then they take them home what is left and have them cold with a salad today.
i got through another anniversary. Until they came i sat and listened to mikes favorite bo diddly and the stones. I bet he was rocking in heaven lol. xxxx
hi sue i dont have a T.V. lol. I know shock horror.
My grandson is 22. we had a lovely few hours together my daughter loved my husband he was with us 30 years she was only about 16 when we met and he thought the world of her too. so he was more like the dad she never had. my grandson loved him too as mike helped him a lot with his emotional problems and he would take him off everytime there was a car trail as his passenger. so we all had our own memories to share. xxx
I’m glad you had the company of family who also loved Mike this weekend CC.
And of course it makes no difference the age of anyone. We all become happy children playing with a new kitten. Leo is great therapy and just what’s needed for you right now.
