Morning to everyone and I hope you are all as well as can be.
Yet again I was hoping if you great folk might be able to give me some advice.
I had an MRI a few weeks ago and then had my treatment for Tysabri before results.
Before I was able to get my Tysabri the nurses tracked down my results and told me there were some changes but my neurologist said it was fine to receive my Tysabri.
On Friday my MS nurse rang for my 6 monthly check up and I asked about the MRI results. He was able to tell me that there are no new lesions but that some of the older ones have enlarged. The MS nurse was surprised that I hadn’t received a letter detailing the results and was going to e. mail my neurologist to enquire.
It has left me a bit confused as to what is going on. I am glad I was able to get my Tysabri but not sure what the enlarging of old lesions mean.
Sorry guys for another rant but I know you guys are the best to ask.
Much love

Mary, I try to take the view that Tysabri is doing everything that can be done to keep my MS under control, and that what it can’t do can’t be helped. I don’t have any better ideas!
I hope that you have an opportunity to discuss the scan with your neurologist or nurse and get some reassurance.
