I seem to get periods of night sweats and they last for a few weeks then go away. I wake up soaking and freezing. Is this a symptom of MS. I have had them the last 7 nights! They are not menopausal because I am on HRT.

Hiya…ooh gosh…ok well maybe get your hrt levels checked and your thyroid too…quite a few people on this section are posting about this…not sure if its ms related or not…reading up on it can be…me too re night sweats and day ones…very bad oct to about 3 wks ago and now they seem to be settling a bit…these started when I was in hospital for neuro symptoms.some very much ms like …then also at rehab…am not dx …and the seems to be a .? over whether I have ms or not and the drs cannot confirm via McDonald criteria…so are not saying either way to me directly or my gp… def worth mentioning to your gp my mum was on hrt for some years and her levels were all over the place…and they didn’t get them right … I did some research re neurological flushing not related to the change and it does exist…not sure on treatments of any… Em x
Hi thanks, I too am undiagnosed for MS as have only one lesion and clear lumbar puncture. One neuro thinks radiation myleopathy from treatment I had 22 years ago. Had a test for Lupus last week (no results yet) and night sweats are common in that. My hormone and thyriod tests are fine.

I get this, and have went through the Menapause tests and they still come back negative, I find that i cant cope with heat or if it is too cold, so assuming that it is MS related
