So who is out tonight and celebrating the New Year? Or even staying in and revelling?
Ill be in bed around tea time as usual. Hubby might stay up just to see the clock strike midnight, heralding 2017s arrival.
New Year resolutions?
I`m de-cluttering…already made a start and my carer helped as always…cant do it mesen!
My coat rack was overflowing, with jackets and ponchos and capes I`d stopped wearing or feel a chuff in!
So the majority of them have gone to the charity shop.
Christmas decs are put away and less ornaments and framed family photos are on show.
Less stuff = less clutter = a less cluttered mind.
And the usual promise to myself to shed some flab starts Monday. I did start yesterday, but the last of the yule log begged me not to bin it but to eat it. It won!
Happy New Year y`all!
much luv Polls…maybe I`ll change from Pollx to Polls…yeh, I like it! But Boudica is defo staying…I love her!
I will go to bed early as usual. Would be nice to have someone to keep me company, but alas, there is no one. Not in the mood for celebrating at the moment anyway. I hate my life. Hope it’s better for you all xxx
Just at home with friends…my better half is cooking dinner for us all…yum yum…Mum and her sister (my favourite aunt) died this year so hopefully 2017 will be better…
I’ll probably be in bed by about 10 as usual. Haven’t stayed up till midnight for years. But we do tend to record the London fireworks and watch them the day after. We live the high life down here in Sussex by the sea.
Happy New Year to all you lovely people. I hope your Hogmanay celebrations, or early nights in, go as well as possible and that you all have a healthy January. Or at least as good as possible. Keep taking the Vitamin D, DMDs, prescription drugs, red wine, chocolate and or Big Pills as appropriate to your situation.
Nothing exciting happening here either. Have the grandchildren sleeping over so the parents can enjoy themselves and stay over night at another town. I just said to Hubby, I’m actually quite happy to stay at home. It’s wet and windy out there and I don’t fancy either of the pub parties that are happening nearby. Might have been different if there were house parties. I quite like them… We’ll be watching ules Holland as usual.
Jules Holland is the same dull rubbish every year. I think the same people appear on his show every year as they won’t be wanted to perform anywhere else!
