Right,ok,am I doing this all wrong then? because I use my stick on my weakest side…I tried using it on other side but feels weird.
The times I have to use 2 sticks I use them they way my arms swing so opposite arm to leg if that makes sense, that way there is always one foot and one stick on the floor when walking.
But just in every day use I have it on weakest side. Put me right someone please!!
Re which leg to lead with on stairs - I was taught ‘good leg up to heaven, bad leg down to hell’ - makes the most of your strength/balance and has always helped me!
Thinking about it I’m sure when I asked my Physio she said to use whichever side you felt most comfortable with. My problem is I don’t feel comfortable using and side!! Thank Crunchie it’s Friday. Jan
