Hi, does anyone have any advice for me regarding numbness. I was diagnosed in 2020 with RRMS and my feet and bottom have been numb since last weekend. I contacted my MS nurse on Monday and got my bloods done on Wednesday. No concerns with bloods and I am now being referred for a MRI of my spine, only had my annual MRI at the end of March but neurologist wants a further one done of my spine. I asked my nurse if this was a relapse but she said we need to do the MRI before we can confirm this relates to my MS. I’ve also been referred to a neuro physiotherapist. With regards to the numbness has anyone had any medication for numbness or is this just a waiting game. I asked if there was any medication to treat the numbness but I was told they don’t give steroids for sensory symptoms.
I’m feeling quite emotional and this is getting me down. I’m currently off work so don’t need to worry about work. Calling GP on Monday as need to get a further fit note.
Any advice would be most appreciated.
